- Welcome to Living Yoga Studios CYA-RYB new home of Yoga With Perri

Level 1: A practice to solidify and build on beginner postures and concepts. This class is suitable for returning students and those with basic knowledge of the classical Hatha yoga practice.

In this practice we continue to work with poses and concepts introduced in the beginner course. This provides an opportunity to become more familiar with and confident in our understanding of how to practice yoga.

As confidence builds and understanding of the basic poses develops new postures are introduced.

Each student will be encouraged and taught how to discover what works best for their own body.

With a detailed emphasis on postural alignment students are provided with guidance for safe movement and adaptations to suit their individual needs.

 Breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques are also integrated into each class in order to provide a well rounded and balanced practice each week.

The meditation techniques introduced in this course are intended to be practical tools that the students can take away with them.

Students will be given the opportunity to practice and learn these many tools in class in a manner that will continue to support the home based practice that will cultivate self-awareness and the gifts of yoga in daily life.
